Generally, the surface material is hard, while the back material is soft. The requirement for surface materials is generally high transmittance, which can project sunlight into the solar cell inside the solar energy, allowing sunlight to shine on the semiconductor p-n junction, forming new hole-electron pairs. Under the action of the p-n junction electric field, holes flow from the p-n region to the n-region, and electrons flow from the n-region to the p-region. After connecting the circuit, a current is formed. This is the working principle of photoelectric effect solar panels. The back material generally protects the back of the solar cell inside.

There are many types of batteries in the traditional sense, including lithium batteries, alkaline batteries, carbon zinc batteries, silver oxide batteries, nickel cadmium batteries, nickel hydrogen batteries, 12V batteries, and 22V batteries. Their names and performance may vary depending on the substance in them. In a narrow sense, a battery is a device that converts its stored chemical energy into electrical energy; In a broad sense, batteries are devices that convert “pre stored” energy into external electrical energy. Solar panels can only generate electricity in the sun. If it is cloudy and rainy, they cannot generate electricity or store electricity.
